Downloading Problems

I am using a Windows Computer and my Gatherings Kit is not downloading. Try right mouse clicking and saving the link on your computer.  

I am getting odd characters. The files are large and may not display quickly, you can get odd characters if you're online and trying to print at the same time.

I downloaded the Kits but how do I read it? You will need Microsft Word (Mac or Windows) or Acrobat to read and print the kit. To download a free Acrobat reader click here

 

My Acrobat is not reading the kit. If you click on a file and it does not open, you may not have Acrobat installed correctly.  You can try rebooting and see if the problem resolves itself, otherwise, reinstall reader.

I cannot find the file I downloaded. Go to your computer's Search function and locate the file by name,  (look for *.pdf) and click on it; it should open.

 

Printing Problems

There is a watermark that prints behind the text how do I get it out?  You are using the sample file for printing.  You will need to purchase and download a kit.

Acrobat ( version 4.x+) fails to print a page or pages correctly, an example is printing boxes instead of the letters. Be sure you have saved the file to your hard drive. Try selecting the "Print As Image" option in Acrobat's Print setup. Reboot your computer and only open Adobe Acrobat. If you have tried the above and still have problems such as 'printing with letters missing and letters on top of one another' AND you are using Acrobat version 5.0.5; you may have to update  your Acrobat reader. If you installed another version of Acrobat without uninstalling the older version, Acrobat will not function properly.  Uninstall all versions and install again
